Ingredients
Crab Falafel:
- 6 oz Aqua Star Coastal Blend Crab Meat
- 6 oz chickpeas, cooked and strained
- 1 Tbsp coriander, chopped
- 1 Tbsp garlic, chopped
- 2 Tbsp onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 3 oz gluten-free/chickpea flour
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 oz olive oil
Tzatziki Sauce:
- ½ Qt mayonnaise
- ½ Qt plain yogurt
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice, fresh squeezed
- 5 Tbsp green scallions, roughly chopped
- 1 ½ Tbsp jalapeno, stems removed and diced
- 1 English cucumber, shredded
- 1 ½ Tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 2 Tbsp fresh mint, chopped
- 1 Tbsp kosher salt
- ½ black pepper ground

To make
Instructions
To make Crab Falafels:In a food processor, combine all ingredients except the olive oil. Form the mixture into 2 oz balls and press down gently to form patties.
Heat the olive oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties on each side until heated through and golden brown.
To make Tzatziki Sauce:
In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, yogurt, lemon juice, scallion, jalapeno, cucumber, garlic, and fresh herbs with salt and pepper. MIx well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serve Crab Falafels over a dollop of Tzatziki sauce and garnish with pickled onion and a side of warm pita. Enjoy!
