Ingredients

  • ½ lb. Aqua Star Chef’s Blend Crab Meat
  • 4 imitation crab sticks
  • ¼ cup cream cheese
  • 1 cucumber, seeded and cut into spears
  • 1 avocado, halved and sliced
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp sriracha
  • 2 sheets nori
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

To make

Instructions

Make a spicy mayonnaise by mixing the sriracha and mayonnaise together.

Slice cucumber into long spears, slice avocado in half and then into slices.

In a mixing bowl combine the crab meat, half the spicy mayonnaise and cream cheese, do not mix the crab sticks in yet.

Lay a nori sheet down and press half a cup sushi rice evenly covering the nori sheet. Use more rice if needed to completely cover the nori. Once the sheet is covered, sprinkle with sesame seeds and flip over so that the rice is now on the bottom of the nori sheet.

Line the nori with the spicy crab mix and a row of cucumber, line up two of the crab sticks next to the cucumber.

Start on one end and roll the nori sheet so that the rice side covers the filling.

Top with avocado and more spicy mayo. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Serving Suggestions

Chef's Tip: Keep crab in vacuum pack and thaw overnight. Turn pack over and continue to refrigerate for several hours, turning occasionally. Juice from the real crab will coat the imitation crab, giving the entire product a real crab flavor.
